Welcome to the Blue Playhouse, a preschool and daycare at the Reggio Emilia Montessori Center! We are a group of former teachers and school leaders who came together to create an experience for children that is grounded in Montessori and Reggio approaches to education, guided by the belief that the whole child and their happiness come first, and further informed by constant observation of the actual children enrolled and what’s needed to support their development. We hope that you find a safe and nurturing community with us.
Playgrounds & Field Trips
We plan on visiting toddler playgrounds over the summer, including the playground at Prospect Park and other toddler friendly spaces. Prior to these visits, you will receive a permission slip and an opportunity to chaperone. Please look out for additional communication from school staff.
There are three field trips currently planned for the summer. Please note that these trips may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather conditions. You will receive communication from school staff closer to each trip date.
